Zombi U dispone di un sistema di respawn ben fatto, che, quando si passa a miglior vita, permette di vestire i panni di un sopravvissuto che cerca di fuggire da una Londra ormai infestata. Ora però, Ubisoft ha alzato la posta in gioco, con una modalità di sopravvivenza più difficile. Nintendo World Report dichiara infatti, che il titolo survival horror della Wii U sarà affiancato da una modalità che porta il giocatore a completare il gioco con una sola vita. Tutto qui, niente respawn, nessuna seconda chance, solo una vita a disposizione e un mare di zombie tra il giocatore e il proprio obiettivo. Per aiutare i videogiocatori nell'impresa, darà anche la possibilità di lasciare suggerimenti e messaggi utili agli altri che arriveranno dopo, in stile Dark Souls. Il tablet Wii U verrà usato come una sorta di scanner per scovare i messaggi nascosti nell'ambientazione del gioco. Niente male.
